2020-2022 Hall of Fame Inductees

The NWAMSBL is proud to announce its new Hall of Fame Inductees for classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022. This honor, reserved for those who have not only showcased outstanding skill on the field but also demonstrated leadership and commitment off it, requires candidates to have spent a minimum of five years in the league. Additionally, their journey to this recognition begins with a nomination by any league Team Captain, followed by a seconding from another, culminating in a general vote that reflects the collective admiration and respect of the league members. We are incredibly proud of our league's tradition of excellence and camaraderie, and it is with great excitement that we share the names of those who have earned their place among the legends of the NWAMSBL.

Class of 2020

#9 Tieler Driscol

Teams: Marshalls, Browns, Pirates, X-Tinct, Patriots
Positions: C/CF/SS/P
Year Joined: 2005

Tieler's induction into the NWAMSBL Hall of Fame is not just a celebration of his athletic prowess, but a recognition of his impact on the league and its community. As a five-time league champion with the X-Tinct and now the head coach for the Patriots, Driscoll has been a force to reckon with in the league for some time. Whether he's catching, pitching, covering shortstop, leading in the outfield, or engaging in playful disputes with league's umpires, it's his passionate dedication and profound affection for both his team and baseball that truly motivates him. Beyond his athletic achievements, including setting the perfect tone as a lead-off hitter and making legendary center field home run robbery catches, it's his unwavering dedication to coaching and mentoring in the community to the next generation of ball players that truly cements his legacy. Tieler Driscoll's entry into the NWAMSBL Hall of Fame not only immortalizes his exceptional talents and memorable plays but also underscores his invaluable contributions to the sport's future, solidifying his legacy as a true icon of the game and our league.

#17 Corey Campbell

Teams: Pirates, X-Tinct, Patriots
Positions: C/UT
Year Joined: 2013

Within his first six years of joining the league, Corey made an astonishing run at the Championship six times, clinching five consecutive titles with the NWA X-Tinct. Described as an under-rated, Swiss Army knife kind of player, Corey's ability to competently play every position on the field, including a primary role as catcher, made him an integral part of his team’s dynasty. Corey's approach to the game is scrappy and uncompromising, embodying the essence of old-school baseball by doing things the right way—a mindset that earned him the 2014 NWAMSBL Championship MVP. Most recently, in 2022 he won the NWA Classic Championship with the Allstars and visited the championship again in 2023. Beyond his on-field versatility, Corey's contributions off the field have been equally significant. Quietly revamping the league's website, keeping stats, posting league updates, and administering the league Facebook. Outside of the league he actively serves his church, ]community, and is deeply rooted in his faith in Christ. His induction is not just a nod to his talent and contributions to his team's success, but also a recognition of his selfless dedication to the NWAMSBL. A legacy defined not only by the titles and accolades but by his relentless work ethic, versatile skill set, and the silent service to others, making him a true Hall of Famer.

#3 Keith Nicholson

Teams: White Sox
Positions: IF/OF/MGR
Year Joined: 2014

No question, one of the most vocal leaders in the league who has made it his personal passion to do things that are best for the league as a whole and not just the SOX. He spends countless hours making sure fields are acquired/prepped/ready each season, is a key contributor to the league board with a voice of reason, took over a full squad to ensure its survival, and is literally the BEST at being a diplomat both on/off the field to ensure the league's culture of camaraderie is fruitful for all. All this to mention that Keith is a stellar ball player having spent time as a collegiate baseballer and has been a key add to the SOX since 2014. This past off season, Keith was recognized by the MSBL National organization as one of it’s “Hall of Honor” recipients and did a great write-up/interview with Keith as he attended his first MSBL World Series in Tempe, AZ this past Fall. This MSBL National honor was just the third done on a player from the NWAMSBL in its 33 year history.

#21 Drew Hudgens

Teams: White Sox
Positions: DH/P/UT
Year Joined: 2004

Drew joined the SOX in 2004 as a fireball RHP and ball crusher. He has been a constant contributor over the past decade+ on the field, but more importantly, has been one of the most important recruiting voices and a fast conduit to the area softball circuit. Hard to count, but Drew has likely been the reason literally a hundred guys "found" the NWAMSBL because Drew Hudgens talked it up in a softball dugout. Dozens of SOX players have come from his efforts and numerous members of other teams as a direct/indirect result of Drew's recruiting chatter. In addition, Drew has been an invaluable resource for securing fields in the region around Prairie Grove, West Fork and Lincoln areas over the years. Once secured, Drew has always been the liaison for field managers and has helped prep fields as necessary to ensure play is a possibility.

Allan Hatcher

Teams: Tigers, Orioles, Wingnuts
Positions: UT
Year Joined: 2007

Allan Hatcher is a man of great integrity and had the respect of every player in the NWAMSBL from the word go when he entered into the league in 2007 with the Tigers. He played a lot of positions and was very good at every position, even into his 50s. He was a marvel in the field and at the plate! No matter what age or experience level the pitcher was on the mound, he always put the ball in play with some of the most clutch hits! His defense was absolutely amazing, and he was always that hard-nosed player who gave it his all every time out on the field. It is an honor to have had him as a part of the league!

#22 Zacc Arnold

Teams: Dodgers
Positions: UT
Year Joined: 2003

Zacc entered the NWA MSBL back in 2003, playing for the Bentonville Dodgers. He has been active in the league since that time. He has won multiple championships not only as a player, but also as a coach and manager. There isn’t a place on the field that Zacc has not contributed. He has played all 10 positions, (I’m including the DH). He has raked fields, watered fields, and helped dry fields so he and his team could play on those fields. Since 2015, Zacc has managed the Dodgers to multiple championships and has held various positions on the league board. There isn’t a harder worker for his team, and this league than Zacc. Welcome to the Hall of Fame!

#8 Junior Zuniga

Beyond the baseball field, Junior's background as an Army Ranger veteran speaks volumes about his commitment to teamwork, discipline, and overcoming challenges. Hailing from a Cuban heritage, he brings a rich cultural perspective to the league.

Junior Zuniga embodies the spirit of a true competitor and leader, both in his stellar performance on the field and his unwavering dedication to his team and community. His legacy in the NWAMSBL is one of resilience, integrity, and passion for the game.

Kyle Cherry

Kyle Cherry is a true baseball guy. Kyle played collegiate baseball as a pitcher before joining the men’s league in 2010.  Despite hurting his arm in college Kyle regained his passion for the game becoming a utility player that excelled as a hitter and a fielder in multiple positions. He had two championship seasons, one in 2010 for the Hogs and 2021 for the Cardinals. Kyle’s career on the field is a highlight reel of diving catches in centerfield, gunned down runners at the plate and digs at first base. Kyle has been one of the most feared left handed batters in the league for many years.  Aside from his contributions on the field Kyle has also managed the Cardinals since 2017.  His time playing and managing culminated in a league championship with the Cardinals in 2021. It has been an honor sharing the field with Kyle over the years.

Joey Dawes

ALL of you know Joey. He's the Centerfielder with NO fear! He has made dozens upon dozens of spectacular plays that are Major Leaguesque in CF! His most memorable catch was when he scaled the centerfield fence at White River to rob a clear HR from Dylan Anderson of the Iron Pigs! Joey has been playing for us since before he graduated HS. He played his 4 years of college eligibility at Ecclesia College in Elm Springs. Joey is the true meaning of a 5-tool player! He is a great husband, father, friend, and teammate! His wife Lakota and his two sons, Joey and Dawson are definitely his biggest supporters. His father, Joe Don, is also a member of the NWAMSBL Hall, and I know he couldn't be more proud of the man that Joey has become. They are the first pair of father-son inductees in the NWAMSBL HOF! And it would be lacking if I didn't mention his mom, Dawnetta Dawes, who has supported him throughout his time playing baseball and still loves to see him play to this day.

He is a competitor and strives to win games while having fun playing a sport he loves. We all know him for his ability at the plate to hit anything thrown at him. On top of being an excellent ballplayer, Ryan is also a fantastic friend, father, and husband. Ryan continues to contribute to the league’s success and growth. Kyle attended college at the University of Arkansas where he was a part of the team that went to the 2015 College World Series. Kyle’s been lights out in every game he’s played since joining the pigs.. from double digit strikeout outings in almost every start, to hitting clean up and making opposing pitchers pay at the plate. #22 Dylan Anderson
