Get ready to dust off your gloves and lace up your cleats because the 2024 NWAMSBL Adult Mens’s Baseball League is excited to invite players of all skill levels to our annual New Player Workout, happening April 20th, 2024, at the Farmington Sports Complex. Whether you're someone looking to reconnect with the game you loved as a kid or a more seasoned player trying to find a way to keep the joy going, this event is the perfect opportunity to get back in the swing of things and join a team that matches your passion and skill level.
What's Happening?
Our New Player Workout is designed to be a fun, low-pressure way for adults to engage with baseball, meet fellow enthusiasts, and find a team to call home for the season. We firmly believe that baseball is a game for everyone, and we're committed to ensuring that every player who shows up, regardless of skill level or experience, is assigned to a team before they leave the event.
Upon arrival, you'll take part in various baseball activities that allow you to showcase your skills, get a feel for the game again, and, most importantly, have a great time. Activities will include batting practice, fielding drills, and pitching/catching. It's a fantastic way to shake off any rust and get a good sense of where you fit in the league.
How to Join
To be part of this exciting event (if you haven’t already), make sure to register online before April. Registration is essential for participation and helps us plan to ensure a great experience for everyone. If you’re already registered there’s nothing else to do other than to attend the event. If for some reason you’re unable to attend, please let the league know as a blind draft will take place following the workout.
What to Bring
Cap
Broken In Glove (we’ll have enough to borrow if that’s not possible)
Turfs, Plastic Molded Cleats, or Sneakers (No Metal Cleats)
Check or Cash for League Dues ($250) or pay online.
Water Bottle
Bring if you have it:
Bat
Batting gloves
Catching Gear & Catching Glove (we’ll have some that can be borrowed)
Cup (you’ll not be borrowing that)
